Go nowhere in Manhattan

Ellie and I spent some time in Manhattan yesterday and saw some art shows: Laura Poitras's 9/11 Trilogy, Jessica Segall's 1/2 a cord, a quick side trip to Canal Plastic (which feels like an art installation), and two shows at MoMA: Robert Gober (go see it today, it's the last day!) and Cut to Swipe (the highlight for me was Hito Steyerl's How Not to be Seen: A Fucking Didactic Educational .Mov File).

Update: I just found out about Matthew Jensen’s Nowhere In Manhattan from a Facebook commenter. Funny that he shot a similar self-portrait for his Elastic City profile page.
